The nine core benefits of the OPGR Palau Blue Card are listed below:
- Palau resident status valid for three years, with a maximum stay of one year per entry.
- Fees cover the environmental contribution of USD 1 per day for the full three-year period—no extra charge for the total.
- Includes three round-trip flights (Hong Kong or Macau–Palau) and three PPEF environmental fees (USD 300 each) within three years.
- Adopt coral in designated waters and be listed in the official registry of the Palau Tourism & Environmental Protection Association (PTPA).
- Use the eco blue card to open local bank accounts, buy or lease property, and streamline applications for work and investment permits.
- With the Palau eco blue card, enjoy VIP facilitation when applying for visas at U.S., Australian, Japanese, and other embassies and consulates in Palau—subject to each mission's rules.
- OPGR holders may enroll their children in Palau schools, supporting pathways toward well-known U.S. and other universities.
- Receive the “Island Eco-Ambassador” certificate from Palau tourism and environmental authorities, plus VIP treatment within UN-affiliated green cooperation frameworks.
