Project Rationale & Background

Palau is only 496 km² with about 18,000 citizens—yet generations have protected this sanctuary from the scars of modern civilization. Here lies the legendary "Rainbow Sea"—from deep sapphire to crystal emerald, each layer of color tells the purest story of nature.

Our home planet is under immense environmental pressure; oceans and islands alike are being eroded and polluted. Protecting the ocean starts with protecting islands—and Palau, as one of the few islands still intact, deserves to be defended and preserved by all of us.

We are calling on one million people of insight around the world to protect Palau. They will be respected and recognized as "Palau Eco-Residents," guardians of this Rainbow Sea miracle.

If every island on Earth could remain as pure as Palau, then one million "Palau Blue Card" holders would stand as guardians of the blue ocean—and deserve to be honored as citizens of Earth.
